I am a school psychologist because I am passionate about working with youth and enjoy working to create a culturally responsive, healthy, and safe learning environment for all kids.

Working at an all-boys Catholic high school is a deeply rewarding experience, driven by a commitment to fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development in young men.

In addition to teaching a number of our Fine Arts classes I am art club moderator, yearbook moderator, and Fine Arts department chair.

In addition to teaching the young Men of Benedictine I serve as Video Game Club Moderator.

I love Benedictine and everything it can be. I felt at home 25 years ago as Admissions Director and feel even more welcomed now as part of the Development Team. When I am not serving as Assistant Lacrosse Coach I love to cook and can often be found flipping "Beacon Burgers" in Concessions.

Through the experiences I have had as a teacher, my life has been enriched a thousand fold. Teaching involves application--teaching students to do this helps them understand the reasons behind learning and its importance for their future. We never stop learning! "Carve your blessings in stone, but write your hurts in sand."

I may not be a teacher but there is always a teaching moment for these young men, and I am happy to help out. I am a commissioner and former scoutmaster for this council, so we're very friendly to the scouting world. I am also into rocketry. "Shoot for the moon and if you miss you land among the stars!"

I am not a teacher but as an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor Member I role model what it means to be a positive contributor to the community. A favorite quote “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”
