At Benedictine, we believe in nurturing the whole individual – mind, body, and spirit. Our dedicated counseling department is here to support our young men through their high school journey, providing guidance, resources, and a listening ear along the way.
Benedictine High School is a proud member of both the Ohio School Counselor Association OSCA, American School Counselor Association ASCA, and the National Association for College Admissions Counseling NACAC.
WHY COUNSELING MATTERS
Navigating the challenges of adolescence can be complex, but no one has to do it alone. Our team of experienced counselors is committed to fostering the personal, academic, and spiritual growth of every student. Whether facing academic pressures, personal struggles, or simply seeking guidance for the future, our counselors are here to help.
OUR APPROACH
Grounded in the principles of faith, compassion, and understanding, our counseling approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. We provide a safe and confidential space for students to explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals, empowering them to make informed decisions and overcome obstacles.

From one-on-one counseling sessions to group workshops and resources, our counseling department offers a range of services to support student well-being and success. Our areas of focus include:
- Academic support and guidance
- Personal counseling and emotional wellness

- Crisis intervention and support
- Coordinate with outside agencies for experiential learning opportunities
- Provide students with resources and support for college and career readiness
