Abbot Gary Hoover ’74, The Howley Foundation, President Dave Schroeder ’90, And COO Chris Lorber ’04 Pose In Front Of The New Display In The Howley Science Wing
We officially cut the ribbon on our newly renovated Howley Science Wing, which is finally in full use after 2 years of extensive work. The Howley Foundation, headed by Nick and Lorie Howley, have provided scholarships to Benedictine Students going back a decade. They committed $2 million to this transformative work on the science wing and to additional scholarship support in 2021.
After hearing from Benedictine COO Chris Lorber ’04, President Dave Schroeder ’90, Howley Foundation Executive Director PJ Reindel, and Abbot Gary Hoover ’74, Nick and Lorie Howley cut the ribbon and toured the facilities. Afterward, they ate with the Howley Scholars and heard updates from them about their experiences as Men of Benedictine.
We are so grateful for the Howley Foundation and all that they do for Benedictine and Catholic Education in Cleveland and nationally. This newly updated facility is a great asset for the entire Benedictine Community, and we are so grateful for all of you who help our men develop in mind, body, and spirit.
