Every student has the right to believe in themselves. Sometimes we, especially traditionally underserved populations, need a BEACON to help guide us toward opportunities to achieve our goals and dreams. Guiding students toward their goals and dreams, Benedictine High School will serve as a beacon.
Benedictine High School offers programming—before 9th grade, between 9th-12th grade, and beyond graduation. We provide the resources and wrap-around support necessary to not only change young men, but change lives, communities, and the world around them.
is the foundational certification for technologies ranging from security to networking to virtualization including cloud computing. It is considered the industry standard for launching and growing a career in IT related fields.
is a series of three certifications that validates an advanced understanding of digital literacy and indicates that the candidate has the technical foundation needed to advance successfully along their educational and employment paths and support the development of more specialized technological skills.technological skills.
provides a Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) program, which guarantees every student masters the knowledge needed to be employed in an entry-level job in the building industry. HBI’s PACT curriculum integrates contextual, performance-based learning with vocational and academic skills training in the classroom.
certification teaches basic safety and health information to entry-level workers in construction and general industry. Entry-level workers with this credential have industry-specific knowledge and skills that help prevent injuries and keep workplaces safe and productive.
certification is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
Associate I – Basic Operations certification is an introductory credential that prepares individuals to succeed in modern production environments that use Industry 4.0 controls, automation, and processes. This certification is appropriate for individuals working in any occupation in advanced manufacturing.
is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career as an Emergency Medical Technician. It prepares students for entry level positions with ambulance and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). As many EMS services are a component of fire departments, it is also important for those pursuing a career as a firefighter. Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to take the National Registry of EMT examination. Successful completion of this examination is necessary for State of Ohio EMT certification.
